BOARD PRESIDENT
My name is Glen and I got involved with Helping Hands back in 2007. Volunteering for our group means a lot to me. It makes me feel good knowing that we are helping families and helping support the community. When I am not volunteering, I spend my time running a small business and enjoying everything that Western Montana has to offer!
CONTACT THE BOARD
VICE PRESIDENT
Hello! I am Rachele: Formerly Board President, I have been a voting member since 2014. I am with Montana Child and Family Services. I find sanctuary in my backyard garden with my husband and our critters, and in the mountains of nearby Petty Creek. Born in Missoula, I’ve lived in Alberton for 11 years now and am happy to call this charming little mountain town, my home.

GIFT TAGS FOR FAMILIES
Each December, in collaboration with the PEAK Foundation, we fill the holiday support needs of a local family by creating a Giving Tree. The wants and needs of local children are captured in Gift Tags tied to this "Christmas Tree" growing on Railroad Ave. Community members fulfill the gift tags and we distribute the gifts to the requesting families.

Additionally last year, we delivered thirty-five fruit baskets to Alberton senior citizens. In 2025, we anticipate providing roughly 200 lunches to our seniors.
HISTORICAL NOTE: In 2023, we distributed fruit baskets to 32 senior citizens -- in addition to providing our $1000 Academic Scholarship.
Got a Helping Hands Heart for Children?
The mission of Helping Hands of Alberton is to provide Christmas for children in need. Since the founding of our non-profit in 1995, we've helped hundreds of families from Alberton, Montana, and surrounding communities, by making sure children receive the necessities for a healthy life and this includes Christmas toys. We also offer a student scholarship and brighten the day of Senior Citizens with a lunch or gift basket.

WE COULD USE YOUR HELP WITH THIS CAUSE!
